The St. Louis Blues lost to the Los Angeles Kings in the first round of the playoffs just like last year. That being said, they are getting better and will be rattling the cages of the NHL again next year. A Cup is coming!
The St. Louis Blues had a great season in 2011-12 and I think they turned a lot of heads and surprised a lot of people. This is just the beginning of a series great runs for this team that will result in a Stanley Cup, sooner rather than later.
The Blues rise to the top of the National Hockey League did not go down this season. It is disappointing, however this young team is to good to stay down. I am looking forward to next season already.
My friends in HockeyFanLand, you have become accustomed to discounting the St. Louis Blues as a playoff force. I am here to tell you this is going to change and soon. The Blues will be back in the playoffs next year and contention for the Stanley Cup is not far away. Remember you heard it here first!
