About Me
This 2010/2011 NHL season, I joined a fantasy hockey league for the first time, thanks to my HockeyFanLand membership (shout out to my bro, Landon - cheers, buddy!!). It's so exciting (and addictive :P), seeing the teams and their players progress throughout the year. I've always understood the game of hockey, but now I've developed a greater appreciation for the inner workings of team play -- the roster/line changes, special teams, the importance of good captains and coaches -- encouraging me to stay involved and learn more. I have ALWAYS been an Edmonton Oilers fan. I look forward to a successful rebuild leading to a Stanley Cup in 2014 - that's my prediction!! Maybe a little too hopeful, but I'm an eternal optimist |
My hope for this season is that the next best Canadian team wins the Cup - the Vancouver Canucks.|
