Defending KHL league champion Dynamo Moscow will attempt to sign Ovechkin if there's a lockout, reports Sportsnet.ca. The story cites Russian newspaper Ria Novosti. "We will talk with Ovechkin," Dynamo general manager Andrey Safronov told the paper. "It will be up to the head coach." Ovie has a history with the club -- he played there for four seasons from 2001-02 to 2004-05 when the team played for the Russian Superleague, the predecessor of the KHL.

Thats what I heard as well. Don't blame him or any other player for looking for work elsewhere during a lockout. Just hoping we can get some hockey coverage from some of these other leagues.
