Jonathan Quick agreed to terms on a 10-year contract extension with the Los Angeles Kings on Thursday.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed, but multiple media outlets are reporting the value of the contract to be $58 million. It can't be signed until July 1 and will not take effect until the 2013-14 season. Quick will make $1.8 million next season in the final year of his current contract.

"We are very happy to have a long-term agreement in place with one of our top young players," Kings GM Dean Lombardi said.

The 26-year-old goaltender just finished one of the most dominant seasons in NHL history. In the regular season, he went 35-21-13 with a 1.95 goals-against average and .929 save percentage. His numbers were good enough to make him a Vezina Trophy finalist, but he lost out to Rangers goaltender Henrik Lundqvist.
