John Davidson may be Ohio-bound.
Aaron Portzline of the Columbus Dispatch reports Davidson interviewed for an executive-level position with the Columbus Blue Jackets last week (May 29). Not a peep so far from Blues' ownership, club president Mike Priest, or Davidson himself. And no word yet on what the exact position might be either.
If Davidson climbs aboard the Blue Jackets' ship, Portzline suggests the fate of Rick Nash could be affected. And maybe a trade isn't a sure thing after all.
"... One NHL source said he suspected a meeting between Davidson and Nash would be one of the first items on Davidson's agenda should he join the Blue Jackets ..."

We will definitely keep an eye on this. I doubt the Blues would go for Nash, but if he leaves Columbus it could shake up the offensive future of many a team (Boston quickly comes to mind). Also, why would Davidson leave when the Blues are making such progress?

You were not the only person puzzled by this development.
