The Penguins have signed Neal to a six-year, $30 million contract extension, the Pittsburgh Post reports.

The deal ensures that the 24-year-old Neal, who is having a career year with 56 points (30 goals, 26 assists) with the Penguins, will remain in Pittsburgh through the 2017-18 season.
