Reports out of Russia indicate Washington Capitals prospect Evgeny Kuznetsov will remain in the KHL for another two years.
According to Dmitry Chesnokov, Kuznetsov said he will play for Traktor Chelyabinsk until 2014. The nearly 20-year-old winger reportedly told SovSport he doesn't feel ready for the NHL yet.
The internal pressure on Kuznetsov to stay in Russia is thought to be enormously heavy. Particularly since Alexander Radulov recently bolted to re-join the Nashville Predators.
Kuznetsov has played pro hockey in Russia since 2009-10. The Capitals selected the dynamic forward 26th overall in the 2010 NHL Entry Draft.

HockeyFanLand Insight:
This is very disappointing news, I considered Evgeny Kuznetsov the best hockey player not playing in the National Hockey League. I was really looking forward to seeing what he could do at the NHL level and the Washington Capitals seem like the perfect fit. I personally thought he was ready, and the longer we wait, the higher the chance he will not be in the NHL ever.
