I don't want to sound too crazy, so I will keep this blog post short and sweet. In my nearly 25 years of life I can't recall a time where I've witnessed a greater lack of effort from a team Canada. Kids this was an exact blueprint for how to lose a hockey game. I mean, Canada had more turnovers in the first period then scoring chances for the entire game.

You have to give the Americans a ton of credit; they went back to school after losing to Canada just a few days earlier,(2-1). Where these even the same teams? It's hard to believe. Team USA took advantage of every glaring mistake presented to them by Canada and kept punching until they earned the knockout.

Previous to this game, Canada won 9/10 meeting all very close contests. This morning, Team Canada gave USA a free pass to the gold-medal showdown. Congratulations team USA, even you have to be shocked at how easy your 5-1 victory was...
