I am proud of the Los Angeles Kings this team won in fine style! Upsetting the Presidents' Trophy winning Vancouver Canucks in five games as an eighth seed in the Western Conference, advancing to the second round of the Stanley Cup playoffs for the first time in 11 seasons. Jarret Stoll is a popular guy in Los Angeles today.

I think this is the perfect time to remind my readers' of my Stanley Cup picks: at the beginning of the season, I named the Los Angeles Kings and the Washington Capitals as my finalists. I believed in the Los Angeles Kings since the arrival of Mike Richards and now add to the mix Jeff Carter, and the Kings have the balanced offensive attack to go all the way. Not to mention, my favorite fantasy hockey pick, Jonathan Quick with this guy Protecting the net you the Kings have a chance to win every night.
