Selanne retirement talk

Posted by Landon Ewaniuk on June 19, 2012 at 3:35 PM

Teemu Selanne playing hockey for one more year?

Right on schedule?

Lisa Dillman of the Los Angeles Times implies Teemu Selanne will forego retirement and suit up again for the Anaheim Ducks in 2012-13:

"Biggest sports mag in Finland, Veikkaaja, indicating Teemu Selanne 'extending career' in Anaheim. That's the way this usually plays out."

Selanne, scheduled to become an unrestricted free agent, was expected to let the organization know his 'intentions on or before July 1'.

I hope Temmu never retires AND my follow fantasy hockey fans continue to underestimate him. I try to draft him every year.
