Just like that -- once again -- Jaromir Jagr's future appears to include the Philadelphia Flyers.

According to CSNPhilly.com's Tim Panaccio, Jagr reportedly wants to re-sign with the Flyers after all. And soon.

Jagr's agent, Petr Svoboda, informed CSNPhilly.com on Wednesday of his client's feelings, and the two sides are working to hammer out another one-year deal.

"I've talked to Jaromir and I have talked to (GM) Paul (Holmgren) and we hope to get something done before the draft," Svoboda said.

"Something done" would conceivably involve an agreement in principle -- considering the rules re: "tagging" outlined by Pierre LeBrun below. Jagr is expected to command an annual salary near the $3.3-million figure he earned in 2011-12.

"Because of "tagging" space issues on the cap -- CBA lingo for having the maximum allowable under the cap for next season -- the Flyers wouldn't be able to sign Jagr at the moment. They would have to wait until July 1, when the cap is expected to go up to around $70 million."

Jaromir Jagr is a legend to the sport of hockey and it was nice to see him back in the NHL last season. The Flyers looked to be a good fit for Jagr's skill-set so re-signing with Philadelphia would be a smart move in my opinion. I projected Jagr would pick- up around 65 points. he went on to record 54, (19-35). Still, not a bad season for a 40-year-old. In addition, it never hurts when you can add someone with over 1600 NHL points to his credit.
